My favourite children's book is 'The Day the Crayons Quit'. I love reading this story to my class and they love listening to it (Peach Crayon is my favourite!)

My favourite children's author is Roald Dahl. I used to really enjoy reading his books when I was little. The way he describes things in his books helps you vividly imagine what the characters and places in his stories are like.

My favourite children's author is Roald Dahl. I don't have one particular favourite book of his but some of my favourites include Danny the Champion of the World, Matilda, The Witches and The BFG. I think the reason why Roald Dahl is my favourite author is because there is something for everyone! A real mix of stories!

My favourite children’s author is Julia Donaldson because I love the fact that she write in rhyme and her stories make children's imaginations flourish.

My favourite book is Owl Babies. The book has very soothing words and delicate drawings which support some children who have separation anxieties.

My favourite children’s book is Matilda by Roald Dahl, which to me is a timeless classic. This book is my favourite as it has the right mix of humour, adventure and mystery! Matilda is a great role model for children everywhere!

My favourite children's author is Roald Dahl because of his creativity and imagination which engages both children and adults alike.

My favourite children's book is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.I would always wish that I could find a golden ticket and visit a chocolate factory like Charlie and enjoy all the weird but amazing treats.

My favourite children’s author is Roald Dhal as I have grown up reading his books. The descriptive language used in the books makes you feel like you can imagine and picture each part of the story as if you are there.

My favourite children's book is 'The Bad Tempered Ladybird' because when I read it when I was young, I liked that it changed its mood around during the story - it was a good plot.

My favourite children’s author is Julia Donaldson - I like the way she write in rhyme. Her books are easy to follow and are a favourite of my children too
