My favourite children's book is 'The Day the Crayons Quit'. I love reading this story to my class and they love listening to it (Peach Crayon is my favourite!)
My favourite children's author is Roald Dahl. I used to really enjoy reading his books when I was little. The way he describes things in his books helps you vividly imagine what the characters and places in his stories are like.

My favourite children's author is Roald Dahl. I don't have one particular favourite book of his but some of my favourites include Danny the Champion of the World, Matilda, The Witches and The BFG. I think the reason why Roald Dahl is my favourite author is because there is something for everyone! A real mix of stories!

My favourite children’s book is Demon Dentist because it makes me laugh and I like how the book includes new cheeky made up words.
My favourite children’s author is Roald Dahl because I love how creative and imaginative he is in his books.
My favourite children’s author is Julia Donaldson because she has a great imagination which she can put into rhyme. She uses a variation of characters in her books.
My favourite children’s book is Room on the Broom because I love the rhyming and the fact that is has a kind of chorus that children can join in with. It is also possible for children to do actions. The illustrations are well done and very colourful which children can look at and pick up different details each time they read or when they are just looking at the pictures.

My favourite children’s author is Julia Donaldson because I love the fact that she write in rhyme and her stories make children's imaginations flourish.
My favourite book is Owl Babies. The book has very soothing words and delicate drawings which support some children who have separation anxieties.

My current favourite children’s book is The Penguin Who Wanted to Find Out by Jill Tomlinson about a little penguin named Otto who asks lots and lots of questions. I enjoy this books because I love Otto’s curiosity and the way he grows from a small penguin who is unsure of himself into a confident leader who isn’t afraid of a challenge.
My favourite children’s author is Enid Blyton because her books were read to me as a child and I have wonderful memories of acting out the adventures her books took me on with my brother and sister.
My favourite children’s author is Astrid Lindgreen and her story about 'Pippi Longstocking.' I read these stories myself as a little girl and I loved the sense of magic in her stories - particularly magic on her horse!
